Dr. Kimberly R. Williford MS, RD, NMD is a Board Certified, licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Dietitian. She earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. While at the university, she participated in the student nutrition advising program, designed to promote health both on campus and in the local community. She earned her graduate degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She completed her dietetic internship at Texas Tech medical School where she gained experience with burn victims, renal patients, geriatrics and general surgery.

After graduate school she worked as a hospital staff dietitian with a focus on children born with metabolic disorders, later becoming an intensive care and wound care dietitian. She also worked extensively with the geriatric population, both in the hospital and extended care facilities. She was active in the local community, as an elected chair person for the Austin Dietetic Association. She attended medical school at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, one of only four accredited, four year naturopathic medical schools in the United Sates, where she earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree (NMD). She has completed a two year general and functional medicine residency with Progressive Medical Centers (PMC) and Metametrix Functional Laboratories, which focuses on metabolic testing, in Atlanta Georgia. She also served as a consultant in functional test interpretation for Metametrix, reviewing test results with doctors from all
over the country. She is currently practicing at Progressive Medical Center, focusing on integrative functional medicine to treat metabolic dysfunction, hormone imbalance, longevity/anti-aging and chronic disease. She has been working with patients, both in the hospital and out, for over a decade to help them achieve optimal health from the inside out.

Dr Williford is a member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Arizona Naturopathic Medicinal Association, American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, American College for Advancement in Medicine and the Commission for Registered Dietitians.
