Norman Jones,M.D.
Norman E. Jones, M.D. is one of the most experienced in the region for Integrative cancer treatment. As a board-certified Oncologist, Dr. Jones specializes in combining the Integrative Medicine with modern, conventional cancer treatment protocols.
Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1964. After graduating, he worked with the Church Homes Hospital in Baltimore and then with the US Air Force, where he served for one year in Vietnam.
From 1971 to 2004, Dr. Jones practiced Radiation Oncology in the Atlanta area. He has been an active participant in collaboration with Atlanta’s other leading cancer treatment doctors, as evidenced by his ocular melanoma study with Dr. William Jarrett, a Piedmont Hospital Ophthalmologist.
Many patients with cancer at Progressive Medical Center chose to support their bodies with treatments that help the body overcome cancer naturally. These natural, integrative-medicine treatments may include: Intravenous therapies, nutrition protocols, oxygen therapy, and bio-electric pain management treatments and more. Depending on the type of cancer and how advanced it is, these Integrative Medicine treatments may be a viable option to produce long-term remission.
Cancer patients who choose conventional chemotherapy enjoy supporting treatments at Progressive that stimulate the immune system to help fight the cancer and decrease the side effects of chemotherapy.
Whichever path a patient chooses (chemo, surgery, radiation, or none of the above), Dr. Jones works with the patient’s doctors, to formulate the best, individualized, Integrative Medicine approach for successful cancer treatment, giving the body what it needs to fight, rebalance, and rejuvenate.
