Julie Abrahamson, PA-C

Julie has accumulated more than 30 years’ experience as a certified Physician’s Assistant while working in cardiology, occupational and internal medicine. In 2003, she chose to expand her understanding of integrative medicine by becoming an integral part of the medical team at Progressive Medical Center. Graduating from Clemson University with a B.S. in Biological Science, Julie chose to further her passion for science and medicine by earning a bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia, graduating Cum Laude.

Julie strongly believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself given the proper tools. During years of practice, Julie has developed meticulous diagnostic skills. She enjoys the challenge of holistically evaluating a patient’s concerns and offering an integrative solution to help restore the body’s balance and function, thereby treating and resolving the concerns.

Julie is an Atlanta native, currently residing in Doraville with her two beloved dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and is strong in her faith. When Julie is not working or traveling, you can find her outdoors; golfing, hiking, kayaking and riding her motorcycle. Julie is very grateful to be returning to Progressive Medical Center, and looks forward to getting to know each and every one of her patients as she advances her career in Integrative Medicine.
