Dr. Christina Brinker DC is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduating from Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College, Dr. Brinker completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. After graduation, Dr. Brinker took additional coursework through Life University’s Master’s program in sport health science to better understand athletic injuries and performance nutrition. She owned a family wellness chiropractic practice in Johns Creek, Georgia before her interest in integrated healthcare led her to join the team at Progressive Medical Center. Chiropractic is an important integrative therapy because there is a direct relationship between health and proper nervous system function. Chiropractic aims not at treating specific diseases, but rather at ensuring that the patient’s capacity for healing is maximized by having a nervous system that can function without interference. This therapy complements the integrated treatments that Progressive Medical Center has to offer.
Dr. Brinker is passionate about helping patients at Progressive Medical Center on their journey toward health and wellness because she believes that healthy people create a healthy community. Dr. Brinker and her husband are active members of the community and enjoy volunteering, attending church activities, hiking on one of the many beautiful trails near Atlanta and spending time with their rescue shih tzu named Tiger.
