Monique Stage, NP

Mallory HoweMonique recently joined us at Progressive Medical Center after working in Family Practice, with the interest of supporting a more natural approach to medicine. Originally, from Michigan, Monique knew once graduating high school she had a passion for helping people.

She first started her career working as a nursing assistant, and accompanied her husband around the U.S. while he served in the military. This allowed Monique to work in many different hospitals and cultures living in Hawaii, Arizona, Florida and Colorado. During this time she was able to complete her Bachelors of Nursing degree and worked as a nurse for 6 years in several different areas of nursing including  general medicine, cardiac progressive and orthopedics.

Monique then returned to school and earned her Masters of Nursing Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner certification through Simmons College. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the largest certification body for advanced practice registered nurses in the United States. Monique is also currently perusing her Doctorate in Nursing, with a passion to continue her education.

Monique currently lives in Brookhaven and enjoys traveling, being active, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to join the team and focusing on getting to the root of patients concerns while improving mind, body and spirit.
