Reversing diabetes through measuring blood sugar and natural therapies

Reversing Diabetes

Treatable. Reversible. Manageable. Preventable.

What causes Diabetes?

Diabetes is actually a hormone imbalance.

Insulin, which processes sugar, is a hormone. Research is pointing more and more to the idea that sugar management plays a great roll in not only diabetes but cancer as well. The better our therapies for dealing with sugar, the healthier community we can create.

It is a metabolic disorder.

So let’s talk about Diabetes.

Diabetes and blood sugar issues are quickly becoming the leading cause of preventable death and disease. There has been a recent change in type 2 diabetes in the United States… Type 2 diabetes has changed from a disease of our grandparents and parents to a disease of our children.

As more and more children and young adults develop this devastating disease, it has become apparent that medical treatment opens their perspective on who is at risk to develop type 2 diabetes, why they develop this disease, how to treat it, and, most importantly, how to prevent this “new epidemic” from destroying future generations of Americans.

We do know that people with prediabetes are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Their blood glucose levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as diabetes. An estimated 79 million U.S. adults had prediabetes in 2010. This is a lifestyle disease that is largely preventable and highly treatable. People with prediabetes who lose 5%–7% of body weight and get at least 150 minutes a week of moderate physical activity can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58%.

The obesity epidemic is at an all-time high, and controlling sugar is a critical part of dealing with this. As a large study told us, those who were able to maintain normal body weight were 80% less likely to have conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease in their 70s then those who were overweight. And as we mentioned, they may lessen the chances of getting cancer as well. Managing diabetes is critical, and very possible.

Progressive Diabetes Management Program

The biggest factor by far in the treatment of diabetes is working against our Standard American Diet (“SAD”) / our Industrial Processed Food Diet. Removing Sugar, Starches, Bad Vegetable oils, Hydrogenated oils, Fried Foods, and Processed foods will have an impact on diabetes. Substituting healthy foods like whole foods, fruits, vegetables, and lean protein will also give the body the fuel it needs to combat diabetes.

The best news is, this can REVERSE even long-standing diabetes and other chronic health issues like high blood pressure, brain fog, chronic fatigue, and other issues often associated with Diabetes. The other great news- IT WORKS FAST! Some people may even notice a change in DAYS! And the results will last if the patient stays with the recommended diet and lifestyle changes.

In our diabetes program, patients are given a customized treatment plan that may combine supplements, exercise routines, physical therapies, iv therapies, and nutritional & dietary guidelines. The changes in each person are carefully monitored so we can see what works best for each individual.

We have seen incredible results with the Progressive Diabetes Management Program, with patients losing over 100 pounds, being free of their diabetes medications after only a few weeks, no longer needing blood pressure medication, and looking & feeling great.

The Progressive Plan

Doctors at Progressive Medical Center use the following treatments to slow down, stop, or reverse diabetes and prediabetes:
  • Customized dietary support
  • Nutritional supplements
  • Exercise regimen
  • Specialized diagnostic testing

There are other root causes of diabetes or prediabetes that can hold you back, even when you follow a good diet and exercise program. We use specialized testing to look at your metabolism, cardiovascular system, and your internal biochemistry. If these areas are overlooked by your other doctors, then you may not get the improvements that you deserve.

At Progressive Medical Center, we use specialized tests to measure:

  • Food sensitivities
  • Gastrointestinal health
  • Inflammation
  • Heart health
  • Hormonal balance
  • Toxicity

Diabetes is a metabolic disease.

That’s why advice from your conventional doctor –eat less, exercise more, don’t eat sugar- may not always work. To get results, your doctors need to address the underlying causes of your condition, not just the symptoms.

Resetting your metabolism takes a custom plan, which our expert team at Progressive will provide for you. We don’t want you to struggle and feel frustrated, take prescription medications for life, and or struggle with getting real results. Let us build a customized program just for you, based on your unique metabolism.
