Mike Stamps – Program Director, Brain Health Protocol

Mike Stamps joined Progressive Medical Center in 2023 as Program Director for the Brain Health Protocol, where he leads innovative treatment programs designed to reverse cognitive decline in patients with neurocognitive illnesses such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. Under his leadership, the practice has achieved measurable and often profound improvements in cognitive function, while also helping high-risk patients prevent the onset of dementia.

Mike’s path to this work is deeply personal. After a successful career in brand management and sales leadership with Procter & Gamble and multiple technology ventures, his family’s experience with Alzheimer’s — which claimed the lives of his mother and grandmother — inspired him to study the causes and treatments of neurodegenerative disease. His research led him to the groundbreaking work of Dr. Dale E. Bredesen at Apollo Health. Dr. Bredesen’s clinically proven program, The Bredesen Protocol, has successfully been used to reverse and prevent cognitive decline for more than twelve years. Mike and Progressive now collaborate with Apollo Health to deliver this highly effective treatment protocol to metro Atlanta and Southeastern US residents.

Driven by a mission to make these life-changing treatments accessible to all, regardless of financial means, Mike is equally passionate about serving his community. He is active in his Men’s Group at North Point Community Church and supports several charitable organizations. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, hiking, and working out, but most of all, cherishes time with his three children and three grandchildren.
