COVID-19 Testing

Drive-Up Rapid COVID-19 Testing

Progressive Medical Center is now offering local rapid COVID-19 testing to those living in and around our community.  We will be providing same-day rapid results. You can expect to receive your results by the end of our business day.

No Appointment Necessary

Our rapid testing site will include a drive-up service with no appointment necessary. The testing process will be easy and convenient for patients.

For testing, you’ll be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire, provide a copy of a valid driver’s license and provide your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, we will require a signed statement attesting that you do not have coverage.

What is the COVID-19 Antigen Test?

Antigen tests are rapid cassette-based tests that detect particles of the Covid-19 virus. Antigen tests are currently authorized to be performed by using a nasopharyngeal (nasal) swab to obtain a fluid sample and placed directly into the extraction buffer. COVID-19 antigen tests can produce results in minutes. Others may have to be sent to a lab for analysis. A positive antigen test result is considered accurate when instructions are carefully followed.
