Gez Agolli, DrPH PhD MBBS
Dr. Gez Agolli is the Co-Founder of Progressive Medical Centers, Progressive Medical Management, and Progressive Nutracare. He is a leader in integrative and functional medicine space and has dedicated his career to advancing a healthcare model focused on identifying and treating the root causes of chronic disease. His role has evolved over the years from integrative/naturopathic practitioner to business development and administrator, coaching, mentoring, teaching, and researcher.
Dr. Agolli believes we are living in a transformative time in medical history, where science is increasingly recognizing that chronic illness is largely driven by factors such as immune dysfunction, toxic exposure, inflammation, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies, chronic stress, and gut dysbiosis. This philosophy has guided his life’s work in developing integrative clinics that address the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
Over the past 27 years, Progressive Medical Center has treated more than 45,000 patients and grown into a comprehensive, multidisciplinary practice. The clinical team includes MDs, NPs, PA-Cs, DCs, NDs, RDs, nutritionists, health coaches, and holistic practitioners who collaborate to deliver a true team-based approach to patient care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Agolli has served as a Principal Investigator and researcher in multiple randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies evaluating the safety and efficacy of nutritional and integrative therapies. His research spans metabolic health, cognitive function, gastrointestinal health, weight management, and women’s health, including studies identified as 15BSHE, 15KMHI, 15SCHN, 16IBHV, 16MWHC, 16OBHB, and 16VBHB.
He has also been a long-time educator and media voice in integrative medicine.
