In the first episode of the series on Heavy Metals, Dr. Agolli and Dr. Burdette discuss: What are heavy metals? How do heavy metals affect the human body?

In this week’s episode, Dr. Agolli addresses The Quinolone Vigilance Foundation, and their work to bring awareness to fluoroquinolone toxicity. He also speaks with Australian QVF Assistant Director Donna Schutz on her fiancée’s first experience with Progressive Medical Center and their successful treatment of his ill-advised fluoroquinolone prescription. Dr. Burdette closes the episode by shedding light on the biology behind quinolone toxicity, as well as specific treatments used by PMC to successfully treat it.

Environmental medicine is a multidisciplinary field involving medicine, environmental science, chemistry, and others, overlapping with environmental pathology. It may be viewed as the medical branch of the broader field of environmental health.

Things didn’t use to be so difficult to accomplish. It didn’t use to be impossible to make it through a day at work. Now you find it almost impossible to get through a load of laundry. You are so tired all of the time. You are just hoping your disability is approved so you can live.

The times we live in are toxic. We no longer live on the same planet our ancestors lived on. The world we face is laden with pesticides, metals and chemicals. Our country allows almost 300 different chemicals to be added to our foods, whereas our European counterparts allow less than 20. Other countries have banned the genetic modification of foods, whereas our country funds the genetic modification of food.

It no longer matters what you call your disease. The label your doctor gives you is meaningless. What matters is what caused it.
